Stretch your hands before and after you crochet

I can not focus on this enough, its vital that you stretch your hands before you start to crochet. Otherwise it will leave your fingers to ache, not only that but it can lead to further issues down the road and if you love to crochet you will want to keep your hands prime and ready for when you get older.

2.) Take frequent brakes

After working on a project no matter how big or small its a good decision to take a break. Especially if you have crochet a big project such as blankets or sweaters.

3.) When crocheting tighten up

When you begin to crochet a big mistake is going to lose when looping around the thread. Its important that you tighten the yarn enough that you don’t see gaps but not so tight that you can place a stich. As well you may want to practice find the right hand holding position for you when it comes to crocheting. It may take time but you will find the right grove.

4.) Look for yarn in cheaper places

Sometimes yarn may be expensive and tough to find the right one however when starting out I recommend that you go to goodwill or stores similar to it that have cheaper yarn. Not only that but in some cases they main contain hooks and placeholders. But if you don’t want to shop there a good store has to be Michaels, they have cheap yarn there too made from their own brand. And lastly it doesn’t hurt to ask people you know that have yarn, sometimes people don’t want their yarn anymore and have no use. So its a good idea to ask if you can use their yarn

5.) Keep practicing

It will take some time to get the motions and fluid right of crocheting and it may take a while, but keep on trying. It will get easier. Just focus on small steps at a time and you be crocheting in no time.

Here are some tips and tricks that I have learned over the years of crocheting that I do believe may be useful […]

[9,8
