Finding good sources are quite difficult. So I have found some good ones that are not difficult to understand and find.

And most importantly its FREE!

• YouTube: There is nothing wrong with finding good tutorials on YouTube as they can provide over thousands and video’s showing you the basics
• FreePatterns.com: they provide free and easy to read patterns for beginners
• You can find free patterns in craft stores such as Joann’s fabric and Michaels, they are easy to read and are quite small, so its easy to carry and keep

However there is an important place that I forgot to mention, but its not entirely free. Esty, its a website were people can sell their own items and one of those items is crochet patterns. You do have to pay but its a great site to find amazing crochet patterns for both beginners and experts.
