Recommended Yarn

Here are some yarn and yarn sizes that I would recommend based on how easy it is to work with.

This is Bernat yarn and is one of the best yarn to work with for beginners. You can usually make blankets and some stuffed animals.

Next is Red Heart. One of the easiest yarns to work with and you can gather so much of it for not as much money. Has variety of colors to chose from

Up Next we have Caron Cakes. This yarn is best for blankets and poncho designs as it comes with different color patterns making it easier for people who don’t know all to much in color changing in crocheting

My last pick for yarn in Lion brand Wool Ease. Its by far one of the softest yarns to work with and can make for some soft and fluffy scarfs. Easy to work with as well.

Some More tips

Most typically I would recommend for beginners to go big with yarn as it is easier to see what you are working with and to see the loops and stiches that you are making. As well for hook sizes, stay true to what the yarn tells you, however it is alright to go one size above or below. Just don’t stray to far.
